Es gibt auch ein Aussehen der Zeit,(Epoche) das sich nicht nur in der Mode niederschlägt. Es gibt genauso ein Bild des Denkens. Ein Bild der Musik. Heute meistens geprägt durch die primitive Rationalität der Rechner. Genauso gibt es natürlich ein Bild der Psyche, des kollektiven Unbewussten und der Affekte. Wenn manche sagen, es gab schon immer diesen (Intellektuellen) Pessimismus, der letztlich nichts aussagen würde, dann sage ich ja und es stimmte. Es wurde immer schlechter. Selbst wenn es besser wurde, war dies die Ausnahme, die die Regel bestätigte, dass es schlechter wurde. Das Bild dieser Zeit ist Jämmerlich. Und so kommt es, dass poetische Seelen wie ich, wie Penner die finsteren Straßenecken alter Städte durchstöbern, um Reste jenes anderen Bildes zu finden.

There is an appearance of the time, (epoch) which is not only visible in fashion. There is also an image of thinking. An image of music. Today mostly characterized by the primitive rationality of digital machines. There is, of course, a picture of the psyche, the collective unconscious and the affects. If some say there has always been this (intellectual) pessimism that would ultimately say nothing, then I say yes and it was true. It was getting worse and worse. Even if it got better, this was the exception that confirmed the rule that it got worse. The image of this time is miserable. And so it comes that poetic souls like me, like hobos, are searching the dark corners of old cities to find remnants of that other image.
